Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium, partnered with Intel on the 28th of June 2022 to host an MD Tech Forum event themed: Building a hybrid digital workplace for financial services.

 

Top IT professionals in the FSI space were in attendance and were exposed to the latest radical technologies available for business. The interactive session allowed for discussions around their applications to the Nigerian Financial Service Industry.

 

The Event was borne out of the need to introduce IT professionals in the FSI Industry to HPE & Intel’s secure and flexible Virtual Desktop Infrastructure(V.D.I.) as a service solution with immense benefits such as:

 

  • Simple deployment and management
  • Drive speed, agility, and economics
  • Support for full range of users
  • Reduced risk of data exposure
  • Payment for only the resources consumed etc.

 

The MD Tech Forum Event commenced about 10:00am WAT with a welcome address by the Sales Lead of Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium, Valentine Okoh; thereafter presentations were made by the following;

 

Rita Amuchienwa, The Country Account Executive for West Africa, Intel Corporation; Oludare Ishola, Sales Account Manager FSI, Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium as well as Koketso Letoaba, Intel Technical Specialist and Ahmed Al-Jeshi, Regional Director, HPC & AI – Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Intel.

 

Informed was shared relating to the benefits of embracing hybrid workplace solutions, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure(VDI) as well as High-Performance Computing (HPC) and how this would enable the Financial Service Industry tap into the expertise of secure remote working.
