Aruba ESP – It’s time for a new smart grid

The networks have never been under so much pressure, they must support large groups of people who work from anywhere (home, office, remote locations) and use different computers and communication devices and connect to corporate systems in different ways . We must not forget the large increase in IoT devices appearing in the network, which can easily pose additional security threats. However, all users have the same needs – they must be connected and secure in the network. If the situation becomes too complicated, it often leads to errors and unpredictable problems.

It is very difficult to maintain heterogeneous networks, which do not have common tools and operate according to different principles. Such networks cannot be easily integrated and connected. The operational teams, who deal with the management of such networks, have to rely on a large amount of manual work, which opens space for the relaxation of regular maintenance and security orders and critical errors. It is certainly not an optimal and effective solution, and it is very difficult to keep it alive.

Less work and simplification for better results

Introducing the Aruba Edge Services Platform (ESP), designed for centralized and uniform implementation of network operations and simplified management of the entire network. Aruba ESP is the first cloud-based platform that uses Artificial Intelligence (Artificial Intelligence – AI) to predict and resolve network issues and optimize the network. It is based on open standards and allows easy and fast integration with many solutions.

Aruba ESP is an automated platform that monitors and analyzes real-time network performance data, ensures Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance, recognizes irregularities, and automatically optimizes the network during operation. It is based in such a way that it gives users an experience in the cloud but locally. Aruba ESP is adapted to different economic requirements, which is why an adaptable financing model is available for customers, also in cooperation with certified Aruba partners.

The platform using artificial intelligence ensures the automation and reliable connection of a large number of users and devices, the number of which is constantly increasing. Artificial intelligence ensures that network users and devices are securely connected and always protected on the network. AI Power Insight monitors the wireless, wired, and WAN networks that work together in Aruba ESP, and is able to detect and fix problems before a network user even notices they exist. It also enables greater security, as simplified management makes it easier to define and enforce security policies across Wi-Fi, wired, and WAN networks.

Aruba ESP ( Edge Services Platform )  Infrastructure Pillars

Core pillars of Aruba ESP with Aruba AIOps, Aruba Zero Trust Security in Aruba Unified Infrastructure. One of the most important features of Aruba ESP is the integrated network infrastructure, which allows easier centralized management, as well as network connectivity in different environments, whether data centers, work on site or remotely. It is a single cloud platform that includes centralized management and monitoring. This gives IT a single, comprehensive view of the entire network – wired, wireless, and WAN. The platform also provides systematic end-to-end security, which allows users and their devices to connect without threat to networks, wherever they are and on whatever devices they work.

Aruba Unified Infrastructure

Aruba Unified Infrastructure simplifies network operations and management. This saves time and ensures an optimal user experience, regardless of where users are physically located. Unified Infrastructure consolidates management and network operations of wired, Wi-Fi, and WAN infrastructure from data centers to remote sites on the Aruba Central platform. Aruba Central is a simple cloud management platform that connects all areas of network infrastructure. This shortens the problem resolution time and at the same time reduces the risk of human error. Additionally, Aruba’s unified infrastructure approach allows customers to choose between on-premises or cloud-based services, enabling full adaptability.

AIOps ( Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations )

AIOps is a core component of Aruba ESP, which uses artificial intelligence and analytics to identify the source of problems and propose solutions. Prediction accuracy exceeds 95%. Additionally, AIOps automatically fixes detected issues, proactively monitors user experience, and adjusts the network. Thus, it continuously measures and analyzes network operation and implements real-time optimization and adapts to security threats. The experience of the parties to date has shown that the use of AIOps brings a 15% increase in network bandwidth and the time to resolution of problems is reduced by almost 90%.

Zero Trust Security

Zero Trust Network Security combines advanced network access control technologies, dynamic segmentation and intrusion detection mechanisms. Using malicious technologies, authentication, authorization and regular monitoring of every user or device that connects to the network is constantly implemented. In this way, attacks on the network can be detected effectively, reliably prevented, but sufficiently isolated so that they do not cause damage.
